Abuelos
$22.50
Abuelos comes from a beautiful and forgotten patch of jungle where perfectly conserved Typica trees from the Recinos ancestors/grandparents (abuelos in Spanish). All those years of freedom and jungle pureness allowed the trees to grow incredibly tall. Even though the vibrant and deep red cherries are harder to harvest, the quality of the coffee makes it all worth it.
We are really honored to be given access to this « family » lot by the grandmother Noemi. This lot is exclusive to Escape and is one of the best washed Guatemalan Typica we had the chance to put our hands on. This coffee is sweet, has a silky body and gives a very clean cup. Lose yourself in the wilderness with a bag of Abuelos.

For over five generations, the Recinos family has dedicated its life to grow and produce coffee and we are proud of this new direct relationship through our friend Sebastian Recinos and his project Balam.
